The MFC is
- An important stimulus for starting informal relations and cooperation among social, civil, business structures and state institutions in realization of programmes and projects influencing the positive image of Moscow promotion.
- Real base providing coordination, consolidated participation and present-day interaction of social and professional organisations, confessions, veteran organisations, the business community and the Moscow City Government bodies in order to effectively solve Moscow's most important problems.
- Forming a common data bank which would make it possible to collect various ideas and projects stimulating Moscow's positive image promotion with a structured approach, complex solution, transparent and effective ways of realization and control.
- Selection of ideas on the basis of competition. The club proposes to its members certain projects from the data bank depending on their interests and preferences.
The club's governing bodies are The Supreme Council, its structures.
